Your questions answered
What areas are you services available in?
We provide boiler installation services in Milton Keynes, Woburn Sands, Newport Pagnell and surrounding areas.
What boiler brands do you fit?
We install Ideal Boilers, Vaillant Boilers, Worcester Boilers, Baxi Boilers and Viessmann Boilers as well as all high quality boilers. We do not recommend low quality brands as it is a false economy.
What is a condensing boiler and why does it matter?
In 2005 it became mandatory to install condensing boilers. Older non-condensing boilers wasted energy by sending hot air out through the flue into the atmosphere. Modern ondensing boiers extract extra heat from the combustion process before it reaches the flue. This means that the temperature of the exhust fumes going through the flue to the outside is much lower. Because condensing boilers cool the exhust fumes before they leave the boiler the steam turns into condensation which drips out of the bottom of the boiler via a small white pipe which may be noticable near to the boiler.
What is the lead time for boiler installations?
We try to provide a very reactive service as we know it sometimes comes a nasty suprise when your boiler breaks down. We can typically fit you in within a few days but we regulary fit boilers within 24hours of being called and have even on occasion installed boilers on the same day as being contacted.
Do you offer free quotes?
Yes we can provide an estimate over the phone or we can come to your property and provide a free quotation. We understand you will be getting other quotes and provide a price match promise to ensure we are always the most competitive in the area.
What payment options do we accept?
We accept card or bank transfer. For those without banking facilities we can accept checks. We do not accept cash payments.
What are your payment terms for domestic customers?
We take a 30% deposit to secure the booking with the remaining 70% due on completion of the boiler installation.
How long will my boiler installation take?
A like for like replacement is typically comlpleted in 1 day. If the system is being converted to a combi boiler system then it's typically two days work. More involved jobs can run for longer when complete heating systems and new radiators are being installed.
What should I expect when you come for a boiler quotation?
Our quotations typically take between 10 and 30 minutes. You will usually meet either Billy or Jay. We will take a look at your existing system and discuss your current requirements and future plans for the property. Based on that information we will be able to advise you on the best options. We will then need to check a few practical details looking for suitable pipes and connections points etc. With the information gathered we will be able to send you over a quotation for the required works. We will check prices online before sending the quotation to make sure it is the most competitive price available.
